I’m Farrelly (Far-ELL-ee). I'm a Kiwi 🇳🇿 software engineer who primarily works on frontends using React/React-Native. I like to think of myself as a generalist, however I'm mostly interested in user interfaces.

I've begun blogging my trophies of experience on this very website. I'm still trying to find my voice and style, however it's been a lovely experience getting to 'give back' in a sense. My favourite thing about programming is open source and the willingness for us engineers to freely share our knowledge. We all stand on the shoulders of giants. It feels nice to hopefully pass something onto the next engineer.

Everything I write on this website is AI/LLM free. It's all my personal experience, so enjoy the grammatical errors and spelling mistakes. They're authentic!
